We’re often asked to explain the differences between the various types of small two cycle engines, such as: weed eaters, chain saw, leaf blowers vs. the ones used on bicycles. Other frequently asked questions were about pistons, rings, cylinders, drive systems, drive rollers, types of oils, road inclines, terrain and types of tires.

We’ll do our best to give you an overview of what makes a sturdy bike motor, whether Gas or Electric, so as to help you make an informed decision when buying a bicycle motor. We will categorize them by brands, horsepower, applications and structural design.
